I am having a problem with VirtualBox and I have not found the same thing when searching the forum or Internet. I have found something similar when working with wireless network adapters, but not wired. I can not get the bridged network connection to work. I'm currently using VB 5.2.6 r120293 on Windows 10 64-bit Enterprise 1709. It worked recently (170 I had an earlier version of VB, but I do not recall what version was was) and possibly before 1709 accidentally got pushed to my machine. I'm not precisely sure of the timing. I just know that VB stopped working so I uninstalled it. Then I could not reinstall unless I unchecked bridged network during setup. I have tried installing different versions of VB (using run as admin), but I'm not getting anything to work. I tried the newest version yesterday to see if that would help. I have looked for updates to my network adapter, but that did not help either. It does not seem to matter what the VM itself is. None of my VMs had bridged network working. Any thoughts?
I did not find the right solution from the Internet.
